JEE Main 2023: National Testing Agency is expected to conduct JEE Main 2023 examination twice in the month of January and April 2023. The NTA officials have released the JEE Main 2023 Application Form for Session 1 on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023 on 15 December 2022 to 12 January 2023. NTA (National Testing Agency) conducts the national-level entrance exam of JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main) every year. The exam consists of two papers such as Paper 1 and Paper 2 for Engineering / Technology and Architecture / Planning courses.
Only JEE Main qualifying aspirants can apply further for the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam and then be considered eligible for admission to IITs. Apart from IITs, aspirants can apply for admission to IITs, NITs, CFTIs, etc.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates
The Joint Entrance Examination 2023 consists of two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is available for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (B.E./B.Tech.) in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), Institutes/Universities funded/recognized by the participating State Governments. It is also the qualifying examination for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 It is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses in the country.

The NTA officials will release the JEE (Main) 2023 eligibility criteria and the official brochure on the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Important Changes In JEE Main 2023
- National Testing Agency has increased the JEE Main 2023 registration fee. Now, the JEE Main 2023 fee for general male aspirants is ₹1000 while for female aspirants it is ₹800.
- The total number of JEE Main exam centers in India has also been reduced. Now JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted in 399 centers located in India.
- A change has also been observed in the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria. The authorities have re-introduced the 75% criteria for admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.
- Apart from this, while filling the JEE Mains 2023 Application Form, candidates will mandatorily have to provide the email ID and mobile number of the parent.
- As no examination was conducted for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates for the class 10 2021 batch, NTA has announced that when the candidate will be appearing for Tamil Nadu State Board with ‘School Board’ as ‘Passing Year’ as 2021 Off School Examination (Sec.), the Result Mode field will be disabled and the relevant field for Marks/CGPA will disappear.
JEE Main Application Form 2023
National Testing Agency has started JEE (Main) Registration 2023 on the official website on 15 Decem 2022 to 12 January 2023. JEE Main Application Form 2023 will be available online only on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
