CBSE Board Exam 2025: Key Highlights Every Student Must Know!

CBSE Board Exam 2025 is starting from 15th February 2025 for which more than 30 lakh students are preparing. Every year the board exam for class 10 and 12 students is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE Board Exam 2025 for class 10th students will start from 15th February and will be completed on 18th March 2025. CBSE Board Exam 2025 for class 12 students will start from 15th February and will be completed on 4th April 2025.

Key Changes For CBSE Exams 2025

Reduction in short and long response questions: The CBSE education board is likely to reduce the number of constructed response questions – short and long-answer type questions for both Classes of 10 and 12 students. The aim is to inculcate in students a proper knowledge of the subject. Students should also keep this point in mind while preparing.

Focusing on Competency-Based Questions: Competency-based questions are designed by the Exam Conducting Board to assess students’ theoretical knowledge that they can apply in real-world situations. These Competency-based questions will form a major part of Class 12 board exams in 2025.

Official Sample Question Paper: CBSE has also released the official sample paper for board exams 2025 for all class 10 and 12 students. All students should solve the official SQP released by CBSE so that they can know what type of questions will come in the exam. CBSE has released the sample paper and its making scheme of each subject on its official website.

Increased weightage of internal assessment: Internal assessment will now account for 40% of the total marks. The remaining 60% of marks will be based on the final CBSE board examinations. Internal assessment examinations for classes 10 and 12 include projects, tests, and assignments.

75% attendance is mandatory: Students of CBSE Board Examination 2025 need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance if they want to pass the 2025 board exams.

CBSE Board Exam is going to start very soon. Therefore, all the candidates who are preparing for this board exam should practice as much as possible. For this, CBSE Board has also released the previous year question paper and the latest sample paper on its official website.

CBSE Board will release the admit card of all the candidates who are going to appear in CBSE Board Exam this time on its official website in the first week of February. All the candidates can download their admit card from there or they can get the official admit card from the principal of their school.
