The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 Exam Date has been officially announced on the official website of JEE Advanced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. The online application process for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2024 is scheduled to start on April 21, 2024 and will remain open till April 30, 2024. Applicants of JEE Advanced 2024 are advised to complete the registration process by May 6, 2024, as it marks the last date for the payment of JEE Advanced 2024 registration fees.
The JEE Advanced exam will be divided into two sessions, with Paper I of the JEE Advanced Exam scheduled from 9 am to 12 noon, followed by Paper II of the JEE Advanced Exam from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
JEE Advanced 2024 Entrance Examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2 each conducted for three hours. Candidates must appear in both papers of the JEE Advanced 2024 Exam to qualify for the examination. As per the previous year’s JEE Advanced Exam question paper, IIT JEE Paper 1 and Paper 2 consist of 51 questions of 180 marks each. Each paper of JEE Advanced had four sections with MAMCQS, SAQS, integer-type questions, matrix-matching questions, and paragraph-based questions.

Who is Eligible for JEE Advanced 2024?
Candidates of JEE Advanced 2024 must check the eligibility requirements before applying for the JEE Advanced exam given below:
- The applicants of the Joint Entrance Examination must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in JEE Mains 2024.
- Candidates should be born on or after 1st October 1999.
- A candidate can attempt the JEE (Advanced) Entrance Examination a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
- Candidates will have to appear for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023 or 2024 with the stream of PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) as compulsory subjects.
