CBSE (Most Popular Education Board) has released a new circular regarding the “2nd CBSE Expression Series for Academic Session 2023-24” for classes 3 to 12 students. All important details about this CBSE Expression Series 2023-24 are discussed in this article.
The second edition of the CBSE Expression Series for the academic session 2023-24 will be organized by CBSE on the theme ‘G-20: India’s vision for a harmonious world’. The topic for each category of students is mentioned below in the table.

Conduct of CBSE Expression Series 2023-24
(A) Conduct at the School Level
Schools will organize school-level 2nd edition expression series on the above topics from 03 August to 16 August 2023 during school hours. All the students of classes 3 to 12 should be informed about the organization of the CBSE Expression Series 2023-24.
For participation in the 2nd edition expression series activities i.e. Essays/Paragraphs/Paintings/Poems etc., please use the format given in Annexure I.
The photograph/essay may be written in this CBSE Expression Series in Hindi or in English.
Schools will complete the evaluation of the entries and shortlist one entry per class category (A total of 04 entries from one school) for further submission to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Entries should be accompanied by a certificate from the Head of the Institution/Teacher in charge that the entry is the original work of the participant.
(B) Submission of the Shortlisted Entry by Schools to CBSE
Schools can submit/upload entries of the CBSE Expression Series from August 17 to August 28, 2023, using Android phones through the CBSE Expression Series app available on Google Play Store. For guidelines on the submission process of the expression series, please refer to Annex II.
Each participant of the 2nd edition of the expression series will get an online certificate of participation at the registered e-mail ID after the successful submission of entry on the CBSE Expression Series App.
The 10 best entries in each category of CBSE Expression will be selected by each CBSE Region for the selection of winners at the national level.
The three best entries of the Expression Series will be selected at the national level. All these best entries will be compiled as a booklet for display on the official CBSE website.
The 10 best entries (160 entries from 16 ROs) at the regional level and the 3 best entries at the national level will be awarded an online certificate of merit by the Board. The certificate will be sent to the participant at the registered e-mail ID of the school. The decision of the Evaluation Committee will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
